Lucy Cooney

Ba Fine Arts, Musical Theatre

Lucy is 22 years and is from Wicklow. She has been participating in music and theatre from a very young age. In 2016 she began her professional training in a Bachelor of Fine Arts in  Musical Theatre at The American College Dublin. Since then, Lucy has taken part in many productions including;

 

• Featured soloist in A Grand Night for Singing (Elaine Johnson Wold Theatre of Performing Arts, Florida);

• Russell Watson: Songs from the Heart U.K and Ireland Tour (Bord Gais Energy Theatre Dublin, Wexford

• Opera House, Ulster Hall Belfast); Featured soloist in Field of Dreams Concert in Aid of DSC, Cork

• Dorcas/Millie in Loveplay by Moira Buffini (Workshoped);

• Gonzalo in The Tempest by Shakespeare (OscarWilde House);

• Vicky in A Chorus Line(Smock Alley Theatre Dublin);

• Featured soloist in A Musical Theatre Celebration (National Concert Hall Dublin);

• Mae in ACD Showcase: A Wild Party (Smock Alley Theatre Dublin).

 

Up until recently Lucy worked as a Dance instructor and party entertainer with Kidisco.  We are thrilled to have Miss Lucy join our faculty with her high energy personality and caring nature  she is a wonderful addition to the ESPA team!
